Anodizing

In 2019, ELMER established a aluminum anodizing line. Currently we offer one of the most popular aluminum plating type – aluminum anodizing. Anodizing can provide a variety of decorative effects such as mirror surface, matte and semi-matte finish. Also, this coating will ensure abrasion resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and perfect decorative appearance.

Anodizing Process

Anodizing is an electrochemically formed layer of aluminum (Al) oxide. This is one of the most common methods of protecting aluminum surfaces. Aluminum is protected against corrosion by creating a 10-25 µm thick crystalline oxide film on its surface.

We offer to our clients:

Colorless/Natural Anodizing

– A smooth from 10µm up to 25µm layer of aluminum (Al) oxide is formed using a sulfuric acid solution.
– Aluminum acquires the properties of stainless steel, becomes more resistant to corrosion and less prone to scratching.

Black Anodizing

– A smooth from 10µm up to 25µm layer of aluminum (Al) oxide is formed using a sulfuric acid solution.
– Aluminum acquires the properties of stainless steel, becomes more resistant to corrosion and less prone to scratching.
– Different color variations are available
